70 years of entrepreneurial excellence.

 
 

In the early 1950s, two gentlemen, André Sohaing and Hendrik Camphuis, from different continents and paths, embarked together on an amazing adventure of collaboration, work, trust and deep friendship.

Over more than 50 years, they have established numerous business activities and have invested together in Africa and Europe, thus developing a distribution network and high added value investments in Africa. The fruits of this friendship and hard work still contribute today to creating financial, ethical and human values.

Today, this entrepreneurial and cultural heritage is perpetuated by two of their sons who, while adding their respective previous professional experiences and achievements, engage in investment projects adapted to the needs and DNA of Africa.

Deeply rooted in the values of the continent, Afro-optimistic, OSEC is the result of this combined legacy of two generations of entrepreneurs, gathering an in-depth knowledge of the market, a mastery of financial resources and operational management techniques and a deep consideration for values of rectitude, perseverance and audacity which are the basis of our family success.

OSEC Holding is a private investment vehicle, which engages in entrepreneurial and development projects in the CEMAC region (Central Africa) and the rest of the African continent.

OSEC Holding currently manages over €50 million in assets and encompasses a portfolio of projects in excess of €150 million with a strong focus on job creation, value creation and long-term commitments.

Olivier Sohaing Tayou

 
Mr. Olivier Sohaing Tayou holds a Master Degree in Audit and Management from SKEMA Business School and a Msc. in Corporate Finance from the London Business School. He has more than 20 years’ experience in Audit and business strategy working at PWC in Paris then with Accenture in Chicago and the UK for nearly 10 years. 
Since 2006, he is the CEO of the Sohaing Group, one the leading and more prominent private business operator and real-estate developer of Cameroon. He runs operations, oversees the strategy and develops new ventures for the Group.
 
 
 

Erwan Camphuis

 
Mr. Erwan Camphuis holds a B.A. in Business & Administration from the University of Hull (UK), a Licence in Management from ESA-Paris (FR) and a Bachelor of Commerce from the UIBE school in Beijing (PRC). 
He partakes a vast multi-cultural and multi-country experience, having started his career in China in 1993 in government funded industrial project financing. He, then worked for over 10 years in the retail sector developing brands and successful international retail groups in more than 60 counties. Since 2011, he is managing partner of Vennebroek Ltd., a private investment firm based in London. He sits in various board of administrators.
